100 Miles Backwards
'A Short documentary about running backwards with Parkinson’s produced for The Cure Parkinson's Trust.'
After suffering from a knee problem which left Anthony Rose unable to run, he soon discovered the only way to continue his ultra-marathon career was to run backwards. Later discovering this was a symptom of early onset Parkinson's, this documentary follows his story as he runs the Thames Path 100 mile race to raise money for The Cure Parkinson's Trust and hopes to shed a light on the reality of living with Parkinson's. The film also went onto screen at Lane Doc Fest in Tenessee and Knowmad Short Film Festival across Europe, both of which focus on stories of equality, mental health and dignity.
